Although residency is not required for membership, our Association was created
to support the Quarter Horse Industry in the Following Counties:
Ohio
counties: Allen, Auglaize, Champaign,
Clark, Crawford, Darke, Defiance, Delaware, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Logan,
Marion, Mercer, Miami, Morrow, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Shelby, Union, Williams, Wood, Wyandot,
and Van Wert.
Michigan counties: Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Lenawee, Livingston, McComb, Monroe, Oakland,
St. Joseph, Washtenaw, and Wayne.
Indiana counties:
Adams, Allen, Blackford, DeKalb, Delaware, Delaware, Grant, Handcock, Henry, Huntington, Jay Lagrange, Madison, Noble, Randolph,
Steuben, Wayne, Wells, and Whitley.
OMIQHA History OMIQHA was formed in the 1990's by a group of Horsemen and Horsewomen looking
to provide a friendly association where more equine events and AQHA approved shows could be organized for competitors
in Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan and Northeast Indiana. Every year OMIQHA sponsors a Queen and a NYATT Team from inside
the boundries of OMIQHA to represent us at the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
