BIO: My name is Jessica Robbins and I am 20 years old. I attend
Northwest State Community College where I am going for my Associates of Science. I received my cosmetology license in 2006
and now work at JC Penny Styling Salon in Defiance, OH. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, friends, and
of course, the horses.
Findlay, OH Horsemen's Swap Meet, February 24,
2008
On February 24th , at the University of Findlay, I
got the opportunity to attend the Findlay Horseman’s Swap Meet and represent OMI as their 2008 Queen for the first time.
I had a great time meeting new people, as well as familiar faces, and telling them about our organization. I would like to
give Angie Bush a special thank-you for donating some of her beautiful western outfits to the queen’s closet and for
helping make my debut a success! My next appearance will be on March 9th at the Wood Co. Horseman's Swap Meet,
in Bowling Green , Ohio. Cannot
wait to see you all there!
A Note from Our Queen: I would
like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated their time and gifts to make my welcome as your 2008 Queen so
enjoyable. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. I would have loved to thank each and every one of you personally but being
unable to obtain all the names and addresses of everyone who gave gifts made it a challenge. I hope this letter shows my thankfulness
and appreciation to everyone! I am looking forward to representing the OMI organization this year! Thanks again, Jessica Robbins
